Roslindale Man Arrested on Warrant for Violation of Auto Laws

Boston Police arrested a Roslindale man, who was a passenger in a vehicle, on a warrant for violating auto laws.

On Feb. 17 around 12:44 a.m., Charles Lawrence Gaston, of 61 Johnswood Road, Roslindale, was arrested on a straight warrant out of Quincy District Court for violating auto laws issued on Jan. 19, 2012.

While on patrol in the area of Washington Street and Archdale Road, officers observed a motor vehicle allegedly operating at an unreasonable speed on Washington, according to a Boston Police report. The car eventually turned onto Poplar Street, and then was stopped at Whitford Street and Delano Park.

Police discovered the passenger was wanted for the warrant and arrested him.
