Roslindale Village Main Street Names DiLisio, a Foodie, New Executive Director
Christina DiLisio was the Mobile Food Truck Coordinator for the city of Boston.

Roslindale Village Main Street's new executive director Christina DiLisio will fit in well in our food-obsessed area - as she is leaving her position as the Mobile Food Truck Coordinator for the city of Boston.
Boston’s first and oldest Main Street program announced DiLisio as its new executive director on Tuesday. As executive director, DiLisio will work as RVMS’s primary manager and advocate to bring together neighborhood businesses, local resident volunteers, government personnel to strengthen Roslindale Village’s vitality and unique local character through business development, local marketing, and local events.

“We are extremely pleased to have someone like Christina to lead the next phase for Roslindale Village Main Street. Christina’s urban planning and policy advisor experience, combined with her passion for community and economic development make her a perfect fit for our organization," said Steve Gag, Roslindale Village Main Street board president, via press release.
As her role as the Mobile Food Truck Coordinator, she was responsible for making policy recommendations, streamlining administrative and permitting processes, liaising with food truck owner/operators, and identifying opportunities for food truck vending and food truck industry development throughout Boston.

DiLisio, a Boston resident since 2000, has also researched food system issues, published reports and articles on topics including food policy councils, food planning for municipalities through comprehensive and/or sustainability plans, as well as local food initiatives in the Boston area.
DiLisio replaces to focus on Stephanie Cave Designs, her hand-sewn kitchen accessories business, after two years of being executive director. Cave intends to stay involved in Roslindale Village Main Streets as a volunteer and Roslindale resident.
