Roslindale Woman Charged with Battering Man She Tells Police She Wants to Date

Boston Police arrested a Roslindale woman and charged her with assaulting the father of her child, who no longer wants to be with her.
On Dec. 10 around 10 p.m., Jaysha Louissaint, of 19 Aldrich St., Roslindale, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

Upon arrival at 4069 Washington St., police spoke with the victim who told police that his ex, the suspect, had struck his face a couple of times, according to a Boston Police report. Police noted the victim had scratches on his face. Officers separated the suspect and the victim, who provided similar stories.
The suspect told police she had recently signed over full custody to the victim, who had taken the baby to Haiti, and the baby was still there. The suspect told police she was upset the baby was still in Haiti and that the victim "did not want to be with her romantically anymore."

A mutual friend had also called the victim after speaking with the suspect, who said the suspect was going to run the victim over with a car, according to a Boston Police report.
