Rozzie Reads Poetry Open Mic with Tom Daley, Elizabeth Quinlan
Stop by the Select Cafe on Thursday night for a free Rozzie Reads Poetry event.

On Thursday night will be an open mic Rozzie Reads Poetry event featuring poets Tom Daley and Elizabeth Quinlan.
This is a free event being held at Select Cafe at 2 Belgrade Ave., from 7-9 p.m. The Rozzie Reads is a program of the Friends of Roslindale Branch Library.

Daley’s poetry has been published, or is forthcoming, in Denver Quarterly, Massachusetts Review, Fence, Harvard Review, In Posse Review, Barrow Street, conte, Poetry Ireland Review, Rhino, and Diagram. He has been anthologized in Hacks: The Grub Street Anthology; Poets for Haiti; and Unlocking the Poem.
Quinlan is the author of Promise Supermarket, the first of three books of a series of memoir poems. She is currently working on a collection of poems based on the life and times of Maud Cuney-Hare, a scholar of African-American music, as well as the diaspora.

The event is emceed by Peter Bates, who has published in the St. John's Prep Concordia, The Bates College Student, the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix, Bostonia, the Boston Business Journal, Radical America, Lynx Eye, Aspect, Laughing Bear, Gray Wolf, Jump Cut, the Potomac Review, Stony Hills, among others.
