Stolen Credit Card Used at Roslindale Car Wash and West Roxbury Gas Station

Within hours of a man losing his wallet missing, his American Express was used at the Emporium Car Wash in Roslindale.
The victim told District E-5 Police that he took a cab from Somerville to Medfield around 3 a.m. on Dec. 29, and noticed his wallet missing around 9 a.m. He said he's staying in Medfield until he moves to California in January, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim said he went online and discovered his American Express card was used at approximately 6:58 a.m. at the Emporium Car Wash in Roslindale for $49, and at 8:12 a.m. at the Hess Station on Washington Street in West Roxbury for $44. He said his other credit cards had also been charged a $1.
He said he had had contacted the Medfield Police, but they told him to contact the Boston Police Department.
