In late May, firefighters responded to the fire at 15 Basile Street. A large part of the playground there was on fire, with overhead wires showering sparks, video from the incident showed.
The Boston Fire Department extinguished the flames but the damage, estimated at over $10,000, had already been done, the Boston Police press release said.
