There's a new Indian restaurant, Shanti Indian Restaurant coming to the Village in January, so check that off your list. Probably the biggest development will be that of the Roslindale Substation property at the intersection of Cummins Highway and Washington Street. Roslindale Village Main Streetis purchasing the property, as well as the F.J. Higgins Funeral Home property next to it.  Roslindale Village Main Street's plan is to convert the vacant substation to 7,500 square feet of retail space, including a restaurant and coffee bar and a market for fresh produce.
