Woman Arrested on Warrant After Stealing Curling Irons, Toothpaste from CVS in Roslindale

Boston Police charged a woman with allegedly stealing two hair curlers and three tubes of toothpaste from the CVS in Roslindale.

On Dec. 6 around 9:10 p.m., Stephanie M. Bell, listed as homeless, was arrested and charged with shoplifting, as well as two warrants for her arrest.

Police met with CVS' store loss prevention officer, who said he was walking through the store and saw the suspect allegedly put some items in her shopping bag and walk out of the store, according to a Boston Police report.

The store employee said he followed the suspect out the store, stopped the suspect and brought her back inside, and then called 911.

The suspect had two Infiniti hair curlers valued at $27 each, and three tubes of Colgate toothpaste, valued at $5.49 each. 

The suspect did not have any identification on her, but police were able to learn she had two warrants for her arrest during booking.
