Woman Stiffs Cabbie Out of Fare from Roslindale with Lurid Text Message

A Bay State Taxi driver reported to Boston Police that a female passenger he picked up on Birch Street in Roslindale owes him $40.80 after saying she would pay him on a ride back from South Boston.
The cabbie told police that around 3 p.m. on Jan. 20 he picked up the passenger at 74 Birch St. to take her to 800 Summer St., in South Boston, according to a Boston Police report.

The suspect got out around the Broadway Bridge and said she had to meet a design client and for the cabbie to call her in two hours to take her back to Roslindale. She said would pay the full fare after returning back to Roslindale.
The cabbie could not reach the suspect until around 5 p.m. when she allegedly sent a text message saying, "If you're looking for sex or nudie, I'll cause problems for you." The cabbie did not understand the message and was worried the suspect was planning on accusing him of false accusations, according to a Boston Police report. The cabbie did not return the text message.

The cabbie said he'd recognize the suspect again if he saw her. He provided the phone number she gave to him to police.
