5 Arrested in 24 Hours

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police log:

• Marlon Rafael Duran, 20, 63 Salem St., Salem, was arrested and charged with being a disorderly person.
• Bruce W. Cooper, homeless, was arrested on charges of drinking in public.
• Amanda Doherty, 20, homeless, was arrested on a warrant.
• Daniel Lee Nason, 55, 12 Palmer St., Salem, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of threatening to commit a crime.
• Peter Brian Turco, 35, 46 Endicott St., Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
