8 Million Fentanyl, Meth-Laced Doses, Guns Seized On North Shore: Lynn Man Sentenced

The estimated $7 million worth of pills and powder, along with guns and pill presses, were seized during raids in November 2023.

LYNN, MA — A Lynn man charged following the seizure of millions of doses of fentanyl and methamphetamine-laced pills and powder — which the U.S. Attorney's Office said was set for distributions throughout the North Shore — was sentenced to 15 years in prison in U.S. District Court on Wednesday.

Deiby Felix, 41, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to manufacture and distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, and other controlled substances, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Felix was arrested and charged along with Emilio Garcia and Sebastien Bejin in November 2023.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said the approximately 8 million doses with an estimated street value of $7 million were seized from a "stash location and clandestine laboratory used" by what it called a "large-scale drug trafficking organization."

The U.S. Attorney's Office said the searches were conducted at four locations in Lynn and resulted in "what is believed to be one of the largest single-location seizures of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Massachusetts and the region."

The seizure included nine kilograms (20 pounds) of pink heart-shaped fentanyl-laced pills pressed to look like candy. Additional narcotics and five firearms were also seized.

Nearly 200 pounds of fentanyl and methamphetamine were seized, along with multiple additional kilograms of cocaine and dozens of kilograms of cutting agents, including xylazine, that is used to adulterate controlled substances.

Multiple industrial pill presses, mixing equipment and other manufacturing paraphernalia and equipment were also recovered.

Bejin was sentenced in May 2025 to 12 years in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. In May 2025, Garcia was sentenced to 18 years in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release.

The Essex County District Attorney's Office, as well as the Lynnfield and Salem Police Departments, were credited with being part of the investigation.
