AdviniaCare Salem Celebrates Upgrades To Rehabilition Facility
The 123-bed nursing and rehabilitation center completed the first of a three-phase renovation plan starting with the sub-acute care unit.

SALEM, MA — AdviniaCare Salem celebrated a milestone in its three-phased modernization project this week when it cut the ribbon on its upgraded sub-acute care unit.
The 123-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility welcomed State Sen. Joan Lovely (D-Salem) to the event on Tuesday that highlighted new flooring, paint, lighting, furniture and technology upgrades, as well as new computer workstations and health documentation kiosks.
There were also many upgrades to residents' rooms, including new televisions, ma new call system and overhauled restrooms.

"Patients leaving the hospital and needing rehabilitation before returning home want and deserve a modern, vibrant and cheerful setting and our employees deserve the latest innovations to make their work easier," said Chris Hannon, Chief Operating Officer of Pointe Group Care. "We are beyond excited to finish the first phase of our comprehensive renovation to this center, and we are looking ahead to the next phase of this revitalization."
The next two phases of the project include a new main entrance and foyer design, updated administration and back-office spaces and the development of an in-house dialysis den, followed by updates to long-term care units.
