Broken Down Train Causes Tuesday Morning Delays for Commuters
A broken down train on Cape Ann at the start of the Tuesday morning commute caused delays for MBTA commuter rail passengers.

Boston-bound commuters from Salem were delayed on Tuesday morning because of a broken down MBTA commuter rail train in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
After the train broke down, there were lingering delays for commuters all morning.
It started at about 6:30 a.m. when train 106 - the inbound 6:05 a.m. train from Rockport - broke down. Train 108 - which normally leaves Rockport for Boston at 6:44 a.m. - was sent to grab the disabled train and “couple on” to it and bring it to Boston. That delayed the train 106 trip by 30-45 minutes and the 108 train trip by 10-20 minutes, the T said.
