With Super Bowl Sunday this weekend, the City of Salem is making free rapid COVID-19 tests available for Salem residents who plan on gathering with others over the weekend.

Up to two boxes (four tests in all) per household will be provided to Salem residents with proof of residency. Tests can be picked up between 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on February 10th and 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on February 11th from the Health Department office, 98 Washington Street, 3rd floor.
You can also request free rapid at-home tests be sent to you directly, free of charge, from the federal government at www.covidtests.gov. In addition, individuals with health insurance are able to purchase a limited quantity of qualifying rapid at-home tests and then seek reimbursement from their insurance.
