Coakley Concedes; Baker Officially Wins Governor's Race
The governor's race was one the closest statewide results in recent memory. While Charlie Baker won statewide, Martha Coakley carried Salem.

Attorney General and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley has conceded the race for Massachusetts governor this morning.

Coakley has called Baker to concede after a long back and forth battle all night that saw Baker and Coakley switch leads as votes trickled in. She will reportedly address supporters and reporters at her Somerville headquarters at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning.
In Salem, Coakley won with 52.5 percent of the vote to 42.3 percent for Baker.

Multiple news organizations called the election to Baker at around midnight, but Coakley said she wanted to wait until the morning for all the votes to be tallied before conceding.
