D.A. Blodgett To Talk To SHS Students About Texting While Driving

The assembly will be in partnership with AT&T

The following was provided by the Essex County District Attorney's Office:

AT&T is bringing its anti-texting and driving educational program, “It Can Wait,” to Salem High School students, in collaboration with Essex District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett.  

AT&T and the District Attorney will address an assembly at today, at 1 p.m. where they will talk about the dangers of distracted driving and share a powerful documentary on the topic.

 Also addressing the students will be Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll and State Representative John Keenan.

AT&T and Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett are partnering in the “It Can Wait” campaign to educate school communities and encourage students, parents and teachers to sign a pledge to not text and drive.
