Dog Day Afternoon At Cinema Salem For Superman's Opening Weekend

Cinema Salem is offering free admission to pups - with a human ticket purchase - this weekend.

SALEM, MA — Man's best friend can join patrons looking to see Superman at Cinema Salem this weekend for the debut of the presumed summer blockbuster.

Cinema Salem is hosting a special dog-friendly screening of the new Superman movie in recognition of Krypto's cinematic debut as the Man of Steel's little buddy.

Dogs get in free to the 1 p.m. show. Humans have to pay for their tickets, but Cinema Salem is donating a portion of the show's proceeds to the MSCPA's Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.

Tickets are $15.

There will also be a costume contest for the caped canines.
