Fall From Roof Kills North Shore Construction Worker: Police

SALEM, MA — A North Shore construction worker was killed after an apparent fall from the roof of a Salem home on Friday afternoon.

Salem police said they responded to a report of a fall on Grove Street shortly after noon and found the 34-year-old man unresponsive. Police said he had been performing construction work on the roof.

Salem police said on Friday they were "actively looking into the circumstances of the death" and that the name of the victim was being withheld pending the notification of family.
