False Alarm at Wendy's and More From The Salem Police Log
Stolen U-Haul, a parking misunderstanding, and more from the Salem Police log.

Police took a report of a stolen U-Haul truck last Monday around noon. A white 2016 GMC Sierra was rented for the day on Jan. 28, and hadn't been returned by the time of the report.
Officers responded to a three-car accident at the intersection of Church and Washington streets last Monday around 6 p.m. According to the log, all three cars were driving north on Washington Street toward Bridge Street when the first car stopped to let a pedestrian cross in a crosswalk. The second car also stopped, but the last car didn't stop in time, and rear ended the second car, pushing it into the first. No injuries were reported, but the driver of the last car was issued a citation for following too closely.
Police responded to Washington Street last Tuesday on a report of a man yelling at a woman because she parked outside the lines, not knowing that her car was disabled.

Stephanie R. Medeiros, 24, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of failing to stop or yield and driving with a suspended license last Tuesday.
Denise M. Amundsen, 51, of Salem, was arrested on charges of trespassing last Tuesday.

John Fitzgerald Casey, 53, of Boxford, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Wednesday.
Michael P. Linatopi, 48, of Salem, was arrested on charges of trespassing on Thursday.
Desiree D. Lucius, 33, of Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct on Thursday.
Shawn D. Teague, 46, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of trespassing on Thursday.
Leland Michael Felings, 44, of Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, attempting to disarm a police officer, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct on Saturday.
Christopher A. Figueroa, 22, of Dorchester, was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct on Saturday.
Cory C. Foster, 36, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Sunday.
Scott A. Healey, 40, of Salem, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering in the daytime on Sunday.
Robert E. Ostrowski, 45, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of possession of a class A drug on Saturday after a traffic stop on Webb Street.
Gianni Rafael Santiago, 18, of Salem, was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a large capacity firearm, an unattended firearm, possession of a firearm and ammunition without a firearm identification card, and a warrant on Friday.
Robert A. Wilson, 37, of Salem, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering on Saturday.
Officers went to the Wendy's on Lafayette Street at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday went the alarm went off. The police log notes that this is the 13th time in 2017 they have responded to a false alarm.
