Haunted Happenings Schedule: Oct. 22

The following Haunted Happenings events are scheduled for today:

- Ages 3-10. Come in costume, parade down the Essex Walking Mall. Compete for prizes at Artists Row behind . Parade registration 11:00am and 11:45am on . Parade starts at noon. Children's Halloween Costume Party from 1-3pm at 89 Margin St. for games and crafts. Admission: $10 for both events. In case of rain, parade will be at .

- Bring your blanket to get ready for this family friendly event! Sponsored by Radio 92.9 Oct 8-Monsters, Inc., Oct 15 Casper, Oct 22 , Oct 29 Beetlejuice. FREE to the Public. Starts at 6:30 p.m.

- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Salem Common. Stop by the Common to enjoy family fun. Small rides, face painting, balloons and much more. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit Salem Main Streets, an organization focused on the revitalization of downtown Salem. 978-744-0004

- Noon to 6 p.m. Meet Hell Boy, the monster fighting devil with a big heart and an ugly mug, along with his demon pet outside the Witches Cottage. Pictures with Hell Boy are always free. 978-825-0222

Zombie Weekend at Salem's 13 Ghosts - Join Salem's 13 Ghosts for a special Zombie themed weekend. Our zombies will scare you in our eye-popping 3-D haunted house and give you a ghostly tour of Salem. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., 131 Essex St.

- Actor Doug Bradley who played Pinhead in Hellraiser will be signing autographs live and in person from 1 to 6 p.m. at 285 Derby St. 978-740-0500

The witchcraft and ghost show becomes even more frightening at night with extra scares and surprises. Advisory: Startling moments and frightening visual effects. 978-825-0222 

- Take a spin on the rides and test your skill at the games at the annual Haunted Happenings Carnival. Fun for the whole family. Mon-Fri 3-10 p.m., Sat-Sun and Halloween Noon to 10 p.m.

- Experience a sinister paranormal seance in the darkened theatre of The Witches Cottage. Complete with ghostly appearances and startling moments, this theatrical seance is sure to make a believer out of anyone. Limited seating, allow 45 minutes. - Climb aboard the Salem Trolley for an interactive journey into Salem's supernatural past, resurrecting legendary stories of witches, ghosts, murder and more. Tour begins at Witches Cottage, ends with a live show. 6 p.m./7 p.m. /8 p.m. 978-825-0222

- Learn about the haunted happenings of Salem Sound on this 1 1/2 hour cruise by the shores of Salem, Marblehead, Beverly, Manchester and mysterious Misery Islands. Passengers will enjoy a fun filled informative cruise loaded with spooky stories of ruthless local pirates, haunted lighthouses, mansions, abandoned mental wards, tales of local ghosts, ocean demons, and living monsters who wreak havoc on local ships to this day!
