Injured Birds: Salem Police Log
Car fire, injured bird, and more from the Salem Police log.

- Ashley Lorrain Papatola, 29, of Londonderry, NH, was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, and possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card last Monday around 2:30 p.m. after police were called to Federal Street.
- A driver lost control of his car on Tremont Street and hit two parked cars on Monday just before 11 p.m., causing severe damage. Eudor Dusha, 41, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of marked lanes violation, and drunken driving.
- Police responded to Lappin Park on a report of an injured bird last Tuesday around 6:30 p.m.
- Haley Paige Jalbert, 25, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and malicious destruction of property last Thursday.
- Demarcus Lockett, 32, of Salem, was arrested on charges of larceny from a building last Thursday after an investigation into a past larceny from a Washington Street church.
- Gabriel Spencer Smith, 24, of Danvers, was arrested on charges of open and gross lewdness last Thursday after officers were called to North Street around 6:30 p.m.
- Luis Anthony Rivera III, 27, of Salem, was arrested on charges of larceny over $250, and Mary Jane Rose Lockett, 23, of Salem, was arrested on charges of shoplifting last Friday around 2 p.m. after police were called to a Highland Avenue business.
- Salem firefighters and police responded to Washington Street on Friday around 7 p.m. on a report of a Toyota Camry on fire. Firefighters put out the fire and it was towed by Bill's
- Donald Lee Germain, 45, of Salem, Michael Wayne Hudson, 52, of Salem, and Susan Katherine Tracey, 53, of Salem, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and violation of a municipal bylaw on Saturday around 2 p.m. after police responded to New Derby Street.
- Dana E. Manthorn, 34, of Salem, was arrested on charges of possession of a class A drug on Saturday around 9:30 a.m. after police responded to a report of suspicious person on Sewall Street.
- Oscar Andy Ovalles, 47, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on Friday.
- William G. Casey, 28, of Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on Sunday.
- Ducarmel Cine, 18, of Everett, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on Sunday around 4 a.m. on Derby Street.
- Stephen Scanlon, 58, of Salem, was arrested on charges of improper driving, and drunken driving on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. after police responded to a hit and run in the area of Fort Avenue.
- Oscar A. Paulino-Peguaro, 36, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, attempted murder, and malicious destruction of property on Sunday around 5:30 p.m.
- Animal control responded to a Highland Avenue parking lot for a report of an injured seagull on Monday around 7 p.m. The officer found a flock of common gulls and Herring gulls that seemed to be in good health. The officer could not find an injured gull, and witnessed all of the gulls "gracefully take flight."
- Alissa J. Narvaez, 24, of Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on Tuesday.
