From Met Gala To Salem: John Legend At SSU Tuesday
One day after he attended the Met Gala, John Legend will be at Salem State University.

SALEM, MA – John Legend – singer, songwriter, actor, husband to Chrissy Teigen and education advocate – will speak and perform at Salem State University on May 2. The initial date of March 30 has been changed.
Legend will discuss the Show Me Campaign, his initiative that focuses on education's role in breaking the poverty cycle.

"Legend’s role in ‘La La Land’ and this weekend’s Oscars has elevated what was already much excitement around his visit," said Nicole Giambusso, spokesperson for Salem State University. "We all look forward to hearing Legend perform some of his hit songs and talk about his social justice work on campus in March. This Oscars-day-only offer is a way to celebrate Legend’s recent work in one of the most talked about movies this year."

Tickets are available online at Salem State, and are $10 for SSU students (limited to the first 200 students), $25 for general admission, $60 for reserved seating, and $100 for a premium seat and the chance to win a VIP dinner and photo with Legend.
