- At 4:37 a.m. Police were called to 7-Eleven on Norman Street after employees of 7-11 and a cab driver said a man left blood in the cab and in the store. The taxi driver said he picked the man up at Salem Depot and was bringing him to Rainbow Terrace. The man told the taxi driver he only had $100 and the driver suggested they stop at 7-Eleven to get change, the man said. After doing so, the driver drove the man to his destination and after dropping him off, noticed a "large amount of blood" in the backseat. Police went back to 7-Eleven and the store clerk said the man was bleeding heavily from his hand and had taken napkins from the food service area. The man left a "good amount" of blood on the store floor. Police went to the address the taxi driver dropped the man off at, but no one was there and the resident said she had never seen anyone matching the description of the man with the hand wound. Police checked with the hospital and they did not have anyone matching the description or with a hand injury come in.
- At 10:54 a.m. Police responded to on Washington Street for a man urinating on the building. The store manager told police the man had come in to use the bathroom but the bathroom was temporarily shut down. The man then walked outside and to the corner of the building where he urinated. The manager did see the man's genitals, he told police. John Jabar Collier, 73, 34 Broad St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness. The man told police he had to go due to a bladder problem.Â
