Mistaken Grenade, Abnormally Slow Driving: North Shore Police Logs
Playing Pokemon Go in the middle of the road, a case of mistaken grenade identity, and more from the North Shore police logs.

- Police responded to a report of a person screaming as though they were in pain on Friday around 8 p.m. on Lowell Street, and found someone "letting off steam."
- Officers stopped a car on Newbury Street after it was driving abnormally slowly on Sunday around 9 p.m.
- Police responded to Market Basket on Highland Avenue last Friday around 6:30 a.m. on a report of nails in the road. Officers found a small amount of nails, and determined they weren't in the road for cars to drive over.
- Police responded to Washington Street on Wednesday around 8 p.m. for a report of possible stolen jewelry. The caller said a ring holding beaded necklaces felt lighter, but it was possible that it just felt lighter because of the caller's new weightlifting regimen.

- Police responded to a report of a coyote eating roadkill on McPherson Drive on Friday around 6 a.m. The coyote left the area.
- Officers responded to a report of drunk people yelling off of a deck on Railroad Avenue on Sunday around 5:30 p.m.
- Police were called to Herrick Street on Tuesday evening one a report of a teenager being rude to his mother.
- Officers took a report of someone stealing stones from a Bancroft Avenue address on Tuesday around 6 p.m.
- Someone reported a suspicious item on Greene Street, possibly a grenade on Wednesday around 6 p.m. Officers found the item was a rubber plunger.
- A woman stopped in the middle of the lane at Brimbal Avenue and Colon Street with the car's hazard lights on was reportedly playing Pokemon Go and trying to catch a Pokemon around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. Officers told her it wasn't safe to stop in the middle of a lane.
- Police and fire responded to a report of a small dumpster fire on Commercial Street on Thursday around 11 a.m.
- Police took a report of a running group that reportedly ran in front of the caller's car on Leggs Hill Road on Wednesday around 6 a.m., and have done it before. The caller said he stopped one runner and suggested that they wear reflective clothing and not dart in front of cars, and a runner swore at him.
