More Than $100K In North Shore Cultural Council Grants Available
The state Cultural Council grants support the arts, cultural activities and community projects in Beverly, Danvers, Peabody and Salem.
SALEM, MA — More than $100,000 in state Cultural Council grants are available to individuals and organizations in Beverly, Danvers, Peabody and Salem supporting the arts, cultural festivals and other community projects for Fiscal Year 2025.
State Sen. Joan Lovely (D-Salem) is looking for North Shore groups to apply for the grants by the Oct. 16 deadline.
"These grant opportunities are essential for fostering creativity and cultural engagement in the district," Lovely said. "I encourage local artists and organizations to apply for these grants and take advantage of the opportunity to share their projects with our communities."

The Beverly Cultural Council is offering $24,600 in available funding for cultural projects. Awards range from $250 to $1,500. Beverly residents are encouraged to apply, with priority given to local artists and organizations.
The Danvers Cultural Council has $13,700 available for projects supporting building connections, encouraging inclusion, and community healing. Applicants are encouraged to attend the Cultural Council meeting at the Danvers Senior Center on Nov. 6 and Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. Priority will be given to projects with the greatest community impact.

The Peabody Cultural Council has $32,600 in grant funding is available to support public arts and cultural initiatives that engage the community. Applications are open to local individuals and organizations with projects that benefit the residents of Peabody and enrich the cultural well-being of the community, with priority given to the first two submissions this cycle.
The Salem Cultural Council will distribute $30,700 for projects that highlight Salem's diverse history and culture from individuals who reside, work, or have an organization based in Salem.
"These projects provide local individuals and organizations the opportunity to enrich lives and bring vibrancy and pride to our communities," Lovely said. "I am excited to see how the awarded grants will be used to further enhance our local cultural landscape."
