More Waterfront Walking Options Coming This Summer

Work on two waterfront walkways should be completed this summer.

Salem, MA - Residents and tourists looking to take a walk along the waterfront will have some more options this summer.

The city is completing the boardwalk on Salem Wharf at Blaney Street, which will abut the new commercial marina.

Additionally, around the corner from that project, MassDOT is finishing up a new pier/walkway at the soon to be dedicated Sarah Remond Park located on the old Beverly/Salem Bridge abutment, according to Mayor Kim Driscoll.
