Murder Suspect With North Shore Ties Added to 'Most Wanted' List

Police say David M. Grossack is wanted for murder. He has past ties to the North Shore.

EVERETT, MA – A man wanted for an Everett murder has been added to the Massachusetts Most Wanted list.

David M. Grossack, 47, is wanted by police for the murder of Francis Brescia in Everett. Brescia's body was found in an apartment Saturday "in an advanced state of decomposition," police said.

Grossack is believed to be homeless and has frequented shelters in Boston, Lynn, and Salem. He also has past ties to Saugus, Beverly, and Norton.

Police warn Grossack may have access to weapons.

Grossack is also the subject of additional warrants in Massachusetts for unrelated charges. His lengthy criminal history features convictions for violent crimes in Massachusetts and California.

Grossack is white, 6 feet 2 inches, 175 pounds with a thin build, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on the back of his left hand, near the knuckle of his index finger.
