New Twitter Handle Helps Locals 'Get Through October'
A new Twitter account is focused on providing Salem residents information about road closures and other things to know during October.

This Halloween season, there’s a new account on Twitter that’s specifically designed to help people who live in the Witch City 12 months a year get through October.
The account handle is @GetThruOctober and helps Salem residents with the little things during the hectic month of October.
Recent tweets included alerts that a section of Essex Street would be closed for the Biz Baz, including a map showing the closed section. Last Thursday, road closures related to the Haunted Happenings Grand Parade were also posted.
