Open Call for 'Ted 2' Extras on Saturday

If you want to be an extra in "Ted 2," head to Boston Casting on Saturday.

Foul-mouthed “Ted” is returning to the North Shore this summer and you’ll have a chance to be part of the movie this weekend.

“Ted 2” will be filming in the greater Boston area this summer. It has already started filming in Boston, according to the Boston Herald, and will move to Appleton Farms in Hamilton and Ipswich in August.

“Ted 2” is a sequel to the 2012 film “Ted,” starring Boston native Mark Wahlberg. It was the highest-grossing R-rated film in 2012.

Boston Casting is hosting an open call for extras on Saturday, July 26 at its office, 129 Braintree St., Suite 107 in Boston. Boston Casting said it is seeking people of all types 18-year-old and up.

The open call runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Anyone that shows up is encouraged to bring along a headshot or recent photo.

If you have a “fantastic costumes” based on a movie or TV show hero, you are also encouraged to wear it.
