Pop Superstar Halsey Spends Day In Salem Shopping, Snapping Photos
Halsey posted several photos of the Witch City to her 30 million followers on Instagram before performing at Xfinity Center on Wednesday.

SALEM, MA — With 14. 5 million Twitter followers and 30 million followers on Instagram it would figure that pop and fashion superstar Halsey would not be able to go anywhere without being recognized.
But, apparently, that was mostly the case in Salem on Wednesday as Halsey made several stops downtown in the Witch City prior to a "Love and Power" show at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.
Halsey posted nine photos from different spots in the city — including one of the Salem's "Bewitched" statue downtown — in a post that gained 1 million views in one day.

"Haven't been great at remembering to take pictures so I'm trying to make a greater effort to capture these little moments," Halsey said in the post.
One of the shots was of leaving Wicked Good Books on Essex Street where she was able to shop incognito.

"I did not recognize Halsey until her visit was pointed out to me later," Wicked Books Assistant Manager Rachel Bolton told Patch. "She was very nice and bought some books and pins.
"I'm happy that she decided to visit. I hope she enjoys her books."
Among the other place in Salem that could be recognized in the photos — with a little help from Vanyaland Music Editor and Disgraceland writer Victoria Wasylak — are Emporium 32, Omen, Hive and Forge and the Flyer Saucer Pizza Company.
Judging from many of the nearly 2,300 comments left on the Instagram posts in 24 hours, many of Halsey's fans could be inspired to follow the About Face Beauty founder and Chief Operating Officer's itinerary in an upcoming trip to the Watch City as well.
