Return Of Salem Heritage Days Brings Road Closures
Road closures will occur for Public Safety Day on Tuesday and the Derby Wharf fireworks Friday night.

SALEM, MA — The return of Salem Heritage days means it could be tough going for drivers in downtown areas at times.
There will be road closures both Tuesday and Friday night for Heritage Days events.
On Tuesday, Washington Square South will be closed to through traffic from 4 to 7 p.m. for Public Safety Day. There will be no parking on the street starting at 2 p.m.

For Friday night's Derby Wharf fireworks, there will be no parking on Derby Street from Union Street to Daniels Street starting at 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. Parking will also be restricted on Orange Street from Essex Street to Derby Street, and on Herbert Street near Derby Street.
Derby Street will shut down at 6 p.m. from Union Street to Daniels Street beginning at 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. There will be no access on Orange Street and Curtis Street from Essex Street during this time as well.
