Salem Halloween Parking Garage Attack Suspect Sought: Police

Salem police said the attack happened shortly after midnight on Halloween in the Museum Place Garage.

SALEM, MA — Salem police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect they said was involved in an attack at the Museum Place Garage early on Halloween.

Police said the attack occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on that Friday.

The suspect is described as a short man with longer hair, and possibly Asian or Hispanic. Security camera footage captured the suspect wearing a New York Yankees ballcap. Police said he may have been in the Village Tavern earlier that Thursday night.
