Salem Haunted Happenings Grand Parade To Showcase 'Our Time On Earth'
The Salem Chamber of Commerce is seeking participants for the annual official kickoff to the Witch City's Halloween season.

SALEM, MA — Salem's ceremonial launch of the wicked Halloween season is just weeks away with the Salem Chamber of Commerce seeking participants for this year's Haunted Happenings Grand Parade on Oct. 3.
The parade will follow the normal route from Prime Group Shetland Park to Salem Common and begin at 6:30 p.m.
The theme for this year's Parade is "Our Time on Earth" —inspired by the 2024 exhibition that was previously on view at the Peabody Essex Museum.

The Chamber of Commerce said the theme should "give parade participants a wide array of costumes and stories to tell."
The parade should be a night full of color, pageantry, music, and the enthusiasm of thousands of Salem's students from kindergarten to college plus many local business owners.
