Salem Pantry Eyes $100K Year-End Fundraising Goal For Food Services
The Fueling Access Campaign will help fund 2025 services amid unprecedented demand.

SALEM, MA — The Salem Pantry is looking to reach a goal of raising $100,000 in the final weeks of 2024 to sustain services in the next calendar year amid ongoing unprecedented demand.
The Salem Pantry said the campaign will provide food access to food for more than 29,000 North Shore residents.
"Families increasingly feel pressure on their weekly budgets," the Salem Pantry said. "Supporting The Salem Pantry allows families to save crucial dollars on groceries, while also providing an abundant and healthy variety of food to nourish a household."

The Salem Pantry said it served a record 9,500 families in 2024 amid uncertainty around the future of key funding sources in 2025, such as the federal Farm Bill.
The funds raised through the Fueling Access campaign will allow The Salem Pantry to:

- Sustain the availability of fresh, healthy locally sourced food for guests.
- Build upon existing relationships with community partners to provide food for students, seniors and more.
- Support 20 North Shore food access organizations through cross-docking operations in partnership with The Greater Boston Food Bank.
