Salem Police To Hold Mock Active Shooter Exercise
Expect sirens in Salem on Saturday morning.

SALEM, MA – Salem Police will hold a mock active shooter exercise at the Salem Courthouse on Saturday, June 24, from 8 to 11 a.m. Sirens will be part of the drill.
Salem Police and Mass. State Police will hold the exercise, which is part of a routine training, according to a post on the Salem Police Facebook page. The drill will take place entirely inside the courthouse at 56 Federal St.
Federal Street from Washington to North Street will be closed during the drill.
