Salem Residents Get 'Free' Night Out Ahead Of Downtown Halloween Rush

The Mayor's Night Out includes free parking, free museum admission and trick-or-treating at the Pedestrian Mall and Pickering Wharf.

SALEM, MA — Salem residents are invited to a family celebration downtown in advance of the 1 million-plus visitors expected in the month leading up to Halloween as part of this year's Mayor's Night Out.

Salem residents can enjoy free parking at the downtown garages, free museum admission and trick-or-treating on the Pedestrian Mall and down through Pickering Wharf on Sept. 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Residents must provide a photo identification showing proof of Salem residency to gain free admission. Students may use a school identification card, bus pass, or a Salem Public Library card.
