Salem To Screen Opioid Abuse Film

The Salem Overdose and Substance Use Prevention Coalition will screen "If Only" on Tuesday.

SALEM, MA – The Salem Overdose and Substance Use Prevention Coalition will screen a short film on prescription drug misuse and abuse on Tuesday.

The film, "If Only," will be shown at the Salem Visitor Center on April 4, at 6:30 p.m. The free screening will be followed be a panel discussion and substance abuse resource table.

"This film addresses one of the most serious health issues facing our society today. Addiction touches every culture, every family, and ultimately every one of us," same writer and producer James Wahlberg. "I’m grateful for the opportunity to create a project that informs, educates and leads viewers to recognize the warning signs of opioid use and to participate in a solution."
