Salem Willows Christmas Tree Bonfire Set For Dead Horse Beach

Recycled trees will help light up the Witch City beach on Jan. 2.

SALEM, MA — Salem residents are invited to ring in the new year at Dead Horse Beach with the city's annual Christmas Tree Bonfire on Jan. 2.

Recycled trees will be burned during a night of community celebration on the ocean.

The bonfire is set for 5:45 p.m.

Officials note there will be no make-up date in case of a weather cancellation.
