Salem Winter Clothing Donation Helps 37 Students Stay Warm This Holiday Season

JM Electrical teamed up with the Salem-based The Clothing Connection to deliver the items to children in need.

SALEM, MA — JM Electrical and the Salem-based nonprofit The Clothing Connection teamed up to make it a warmer winter for more than three dozen Salem students this holiday season.

Thirty-seven Salem students were presented with sneakers, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and other items to keep them cozy as the cold weather approaches.

The Clothing Connection serves hundreds of low-income students through clothing closets in every Salem public school — where 60 percent of families are classified as low-income.

JM employees each sponsor specific items, such as personally shopping for the exact sizes and styles that Salem kids requested.
