Talented Young North Shore Musicians To Perform In Winter Orchestra Concerts

IPSWICH, MA — Dozens of talented young musicians from across the North Shore will be among those performing at the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra's "An Afternoon of Winter Concerts."

The event will take place on Dec. 7 at the Dolan Performing Arts Center on High Street in Ipswich.

The 2 p.m. concert features the NMYO Prelude String Ensemble, Overture String Ensemble and the Intermezzo Orchestra.

The 4 p.m. concert will feature the advanced ensembles, the Wind Ensemble and the Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will include both classical and modern music including works by Copland, Tchaikovsky, Williams, and more.

The concerts will also be live-streamed on NMYO’s YouTube channel.
