Nails in the road, a possible theft, and more from the Salem Police log.

- Police responded to Market Basket on Highland Avenue last Friday around 6:30 a.m. on a report of nails in the road. Officers found a small amount of nails, and determined they weren't in the road for cars to drive over.
- Romario Bazile, 27, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of improper driving, driving with a suspended license, a miscellaneous equipment violation, and driving an unregistered vehicle on Monday after a traffic stop on Harbor Street around 10:30 p.m.
- Justin Reginald Murkison, 20, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of possessing liquor while under 21, drunken driving, having an open container of alcohol in the car, and driving an unregistered car on Tuesday after police were called to check someone's well being around 3 a.m. on Lafayette Street.
- Thomas M. Zapantis, 34, of Salem, was arrested on charges of armed robbery, and malicious destruction of property on Monday around 9:30 a.m. after police responded to a burglar alarm on North Street.
- Police responded to Washington Street on Wednesday around 8 p.m. for a report of possible stolen jewelry. The caller said a ring holding beaded necklaces felt lighter, but it was possible that it just felt lighter because of the caller's new weightlifting regimen.
