Bomb Squad Called to Seekonk for Suspicious Device
According to WPRI, a "suspicious" device was left behind by an armed robbery suspect.
Local and state police were on the hunt for an armed robbery suspect Sunday night, according to WPRI Providence.
According to the report, police first responded to an armed robbery at the Gulf Station on Fall River Avenue (Route 6). The State Police bomb squad was called in and local residents were evacuated when the suspect reportedly left a suspicious device behind. The device turned out to be a hoax.
