Car Crashes Into Train In Seekonk
Seekonk police said Newman Avenue was closed late Wednesday morning after a car crashed into a freight train.
SEEKONK, MA — Newman Avenue in Seekonk was closed late Wednesday morning after a car crashed into freight train near an intersection with crossing signals on Newman Avenue. Seekonk police said there were no injuries reported and that cars were being detoured from the scene during the investigation.
Seekonk police announced on their Twitter account that the Newman Avenue intersection was reopened around noon and that "The Polar Express" was headed north for Christmas once again.
