Obituary: Beatrice (Franco) Pereira of Pacific Bakery

Beatrice (Franco) Pereira, of Swansea, passed away Sep. 14, 2013. 

She was the wife for 55 years to John Pereira and the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Maria A. (Teixeira) Franco. 

Prior to retiring, Beatrice worked in the family business at Pacific Bakery, and then worked as a sewing machine operator for Fall River Manufacturing Co. She retired to help raise her two grandchildren. 

Her favorite past time was ballroom dancing with her husband and friends.

In addition to her husband John of Swansea, Bea is survived by her daughter Cynthia Gauvin and her husband Raymond Gary Gauvin III of Swansea; her two grandchildren Matthew Gauvin of Fall River and Elyse Gauvin of Swansea; and her several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel, John and James Franco.

Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
