Deolinda (Almeida) Teves, 87, of Otisfield, Maine, formerly of Swansea, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris.

She was the wife of the late George M. Teves.

Deolinda was born in Fall River the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Cabral) Almeida. Mrs. Teves worked for the Louis Hand Company for over 40 years retiring as a supervisor. She was a communicant of Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Swansea. Deolinda cherished the time she spent with her family and friends especially her grandson.

Deolinda leaves her two daughters Linda Poto and her husband John of Otisfield, Maine and Pekoe Teves of Woodstock, N.Y.; her grandson Jon M. Poto of Northport, Maine; and her three sisters Mary Costa of Fall River, Candida Rodrigues of Somerset and Rose Maloof of Somerset. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Almeida and Joseph Almeida.

Funeral service from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals. Interment in Saint Patrick Cemetery Somerset.
