Part Of I-195 Closed Due To Car Fire

SEEKONK, MA — All westbound lanes of I-195 at Exit 1 in Seekonk are closed due to a car fire, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

WPRI photojournalist Corey Welch shared on X photos from the scene of the box truck up in flames with debris spilled all over the road.

In an update just after 2:30 p.m., Welch added that a vehicle was pinned between the box truck and the guardrail.
