Rhode Island Man Killed In Swansea Crash
John Souza, of Cranston, Rhode Island, was killed in a Swansea crash. He was a disc jockey and comedian who went by "Johnie Armani."
SEEKONK, MA — Police on Friday identified the man killed in a Swansea crash on Interstate 195 Thursday. John Souza, 38, of Rhode Island, died after police said a woman driving in the opposite direction struck his vehicle head-on. The woman, a 40-year-old from Bristol, Rhode Island, has not been charged and police have not released her name.
Souza was a disc jockey and comedian who went by "Johnie Armani." His sister said at the time of the crash, he was headed home after DJing in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, according to WJAR.
