Seekonk election results April 2, 2018: a ballot question about a howitzer and races for Selectmen and School Committee.

SEEKONK, MA — Seekonk voters hit the polls Monday for the annual town election. In the Selectmen race, Christopher Zorra and David Viera won seats, while for School Committee, Kimberly Sluter and Noah Escaler won seats, according to the Sun Chronicle. On Question 1, voters approved locating a display howitzer cannon at Veterans Memorial Park, the Sun Chronicle reported.

- "Shall the Town approve the charter amendment proposed by the Town Meeting summarized below? The November 13, 2017 Fall Annual Town Meeting voted to amend Article 3, Section 2 of the Charter. Currently, this section of the Charter prohibits an elected official from holding any other elected office. The amendment, if approved by the voters, will allow an elected official to also serve on a G.L. c43B elected Charter Commission."
