Seekonk to Hold Sept. 11 Ceremony
Seekonk will hold a ceremony on the 12th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001

Submitted to Seekonk-Swansea Patch:
Please join the Town of Seekonk and Seekonk Schools in commemorating the 12th anniversary of the terrible loss this nation suffered from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 6:00 PM at the Public Safety Complex on Taunton Avenue.Â
We will mourn those who lost their lives that day and in subsequent efforts to restore security to this country as well as those who lost their lives in the Boston Marathon bombings April 15. We will pay tribute to our courageous public safety employees and veterans and to Seekonk residents who participated in the long and difficult task of clean-up at the World Trade Center site. Seekonk firefighters will also honor the 19 Arizona firefighters who lost their lives this year.
