Three Men Arrested After Carjacking, Stabbing on Route 195
The victim was allegedly thrown from a car and needed to roll out of the way of an oncoming vehicle.

Three men were arrested after a stabbing and carjacking on Route 195 East in Swansea.
State Police responded to the area at about 1:45 a.m. Monday after a 24-year-old Bradford man said he was stabbed and thrown from his vehicle during a carjacking.
The victim told State Police Trooper Neal Cadorette that he was driving from Rhode Island to Fall River with the three men. There was an argument and he was stabbed twice and thrown from his vehicle. The victim needed to roll out of the way of an oncoming vehicle, according to police.

State Police alerted nearby police departments. A short time later, Sgt. Irma Teves located the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria on Davol Street in Fall River.
The trooper pulled over the vehicle as it pulled into a convenience store. Police found a knife under a floor mat in the back seat, said police.

Police arrested three people in the vehicle:
Nathaniel F. Pires, 21, of Fall River, was charged with:
- Receiving stolen motor vehicle
- Assault & battery with dangerous weapon
- Armed carjacking
- Carry a dangerous weapon.
Abner S. Juarez, 23, of Fall River, was charged with:
- Receiving stolen motor vehicle
- Assault & battery with dangerous weapon
- Armed carjacking.
Kevin T. Fragoso, 21, of Fall River, was charged with:
- Receiving stolen motor vehicle
- Assault & battery with dangerous weapon
- Armed carjacking.
